A Roof, Not A Boat!
Believe it or not, a roof is not waterproof! It is designed to shed water but not to be waterproof. If you would turn your home upside down and place it in a large body of water it would sink. So if a roof is not waterproof but water resistant it means that there is a high probability that at some point in time your roof will start to leak. A leaking roof is no joke! Water damage is a serious thing and, if left uncorrected, can become major problems in the future. Keep an eye on things and correct problems early.
